EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience Admission Policy

These terms and conditions govern Your participation in any virtual event, webinar, meeting, seminar, conference or other digital product (“EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience”) which is owned and operated by EJP Events., whose registered office is at 1155 W Morrison Suite 200; or any subsidiary of EJP Events. (“the Organizer”).

 

Virtual Event Registration

By registering for EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience, You agree to and accept these terms which form a binding legal contract between the Organizer and the registered attendee (“You”, “Your(s)”. Your registration entitles You to access to EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience for which You have registered. Any and all costs associated with Your attendance shall be borne by You. The Organizer shall have no liability for such costs. You will be sent a confirmation email once You have successfully registered for the Virtual Event. The confirmation email will contain important information regarding Your attendance including login/access information and it is Your responsibility to ensure that the email address that You provide on registration is correct. Only pre-registered attendees may attend the EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience. You are not permitted to share, or transfer the Virtual Event login access link and/or code provided by the Organizer to any third party unless You have sought and obtained the express written consent to do so from the Organizer.

 

Attendees

All attendees/visitors shall conduct themselves in an appropriate, professional and business-like manner during EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience. Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language and/or behavior is not permitted.

You acknowledge that the Organizer reserves the right to exclude, or remove Attendees from the Virtual Event if in its sole discretion the Organizer determines that Your behavior in any way breaches these terms and conditions and/or is disruptive, or hinders the enjoyment of the Virtual Event by exhibitors, sponsors or other Attendees.

The Organizer’s decision is final and the Organizer accepts no responsibility or liability for any costs, claims, damages or expenses incurred by the Attendee in connection with such exclusion or removal.

Attendees are prohibited from making any form of recording (including audio or video) or taking screen shots or photographs of any part of the Virtual Event, except for fair and reasonable personal use to share or promote your own personal attendance at the event. Except where permission has been granted in advance, such as is the case with Event Sponsors, You are prohibited from copying and circulating any materials, content or exhibitor, sponsor or attendee lists provided by the Organizer at, or in relation to the Virtual Event except with the prior written consent of the Organizer, to be granted or withheld at the Organizer’s discretion.

Photo and Video Consent

Video footage and/or photos will be taken during this event, which may or may not include your recognizable image. Please be advised, by participating in this event, you agree to allow EJP Events to use the images and recordings in print, digital or web-based formats for promotional and archival purposes. If you do not wish to have us use your image, please notify the event organizer.

Registration Fees

The payment of any applicable fee (together with any applicable taxes) for EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience is due in full at the time of registration and in any event prior to you accessing the Virtual Event. If such payment is declined for any reason, the Organizer may refuse to allow You access to the Virtual Event and shall have no liability to You in that regard.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds of tuition payments, less a processing fee, will be made only if written notice of cancellation is received and acknowledged to emee@ejpevents.com by the deadline date to be specified.

No refunds will be given if You cancel Your booking after the deadline date, or if you fail to attend EJP Events – Virtual Culinary Experience (“no-show”).

Virtual Event Content

All rights in all presentations, materials and documentation published or otherwise made available as part of the Virtual Event (including the Virtual Event name, logo exhibitor, sponsor and Attendee lists) (“Content”) are owned by the Organizer, or are included with the permission of the owner of the rights. No (i) photography, filming or recording; or (ii) republication, broadcast or other dissemination of the Content is permitted. You shall not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or in any other way use any of the Content (save that use by the relevant Attendee for internal business purposes shall be permitted), and in particular (but without limitation) You shall not:

  • upload any Content onto any website, intranet or shared system or include any Content in a database;
  • transmit, re-circulate or otherwise make available any Content to any third party;
  • use the Content in any way that might infringe third party rights or that may bring the Organizer into disrepute; or
  • make any commercial use of the Content.

To the extent that any Content is published online by the Organizer, the Organizer reserves the right to remove or suspend access to such Content at any time.

The Organizer is not responsible for the Content of any speaker’s presentation; such Content is the opinion of the speaker and not of the Organizer.

 

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organizer and its officers, directors, employees agents and affiliates from all damages, liabilities and expenses (and all legal costs including reasonable lawyers’ fees, court costs, expenses and settlements resulting from any action or claim) arising out of, connected with or resulting in any way from any act or omissions by You or Your negligence during your attendance and participation in the Virtual Event or otherwise in relation to the Virtual Event.

Liability

The Virtual Event is transmitted over the internet, and accordingly, is subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of the internet and electronic communications. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any delays, delivery failures, viruses, hacker intrusions or other damage resulting from such problems.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer’s aggregate liability to You, whether such liability arises in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any damages, loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind howsoever arising, out of or in connection with any Virtual Event booking (or requested Virtual Event booking) made by You or otherwise in relation to the Virtual Event, shall be limited to the amount of the Attendee’s paid registration fee.

The Organizer will not be liable under contract, tort or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise with reference to any matter arising directly or indirectly out of or related to any Virtual Event booking (or requested Virtual Event booking) made by a Attendee or otherwise in relation to the Virtual Event, for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive loss, damage or liability or for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of use, loss of data and loss of reputation.

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude the Organizer’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.

Data Protection

By registering for an Virtual Event, Your registration details will be available to the Organizer and its affiliates to deliver the Virtual Event as well as to contact You with information about similar events and services in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy which can be found here: https://ejpevents.com/privacy-policy/

 

General

The Organizer reserves the right in its sole discretion to vary any aspect of the Virtual Event, including but not limited to the Virtual Event content, program, speakers, dates and times. Any such changes shall be made available on the Virtual Event’s web page.

These terms and conditions may be amended by the Organizer from time to time. Any such changes will be displayed on the Organizer’s Virtual Event’s web page.

If any provision (or part of a provision) of these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by US law, in Multnomah County, State of Oregon; and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction thereof.Bottom of Form
